University Vice Rector for Scientific Affairs Chairs a Meeting with the QS Ranking Committee
Prof. Dr. Kamal Hussein Ahmed, Vice Rector of the University for Scientific Affairs, chaired an extensive meeting with the QS Ranking Committee at the University Rectorship .
The committee is responsible for registration, uploading requirements, and supervising these procedures to be included in the QS Ranking. This occured on Wednesday, December 7th.
The meeting included the Directors of, Scholarships and Cultural Relations, Quality Assurance and University Performance, Student Affairs and Registration, Media and Government Communication.
In addition to several heads of units within the Rectorship departments and centers, and officials responsible for rankings and data.
The attendees discussed the mechanism for registration in the ranking, the necessary requirements to enter and advance in the 2026 edition of the QS World University Rankings, the possibility of uploading all data within the required timeframe, and contacting the ranking administration for registration.
For his part, the Vice Rector directed the preparation of the required data and urged for it to be uploaded promptly to the university’s official website.
This includes the uploaded requirements such as academic descriptions and curricula, which are vital for providing students with syllabi and course materials, as well as meeting global ranking requirements.
The meeting concluded with a decision to organize a workshop for website operators and data entry personnel, assigning the task of monitoring them to the Deans of the Colleges to ensure tasks are completed in the best possible manner and as quickly as possible.
Furthermore, it aimed to train IT officials on the mechanism of managing official websites and uploading data to them.
