Instructor at the University of Samarra Publishes Scientific Research in a Scopus-Indexed Journal
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hussam Abdul Hamid Hussein, an instructor at the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Samarra, has published a scientific research paper in the journal Al-Rafidain Journal of Computer Sciences, issued by the Academic Publishing House in Mesopotamia, and classified in the first quartile (Q1) in the Scopus database.
The research is titled \”Content Validity Testing of a Student Registration Tool and Employee Intention in Adopting Blockchain-Based Certificate Verification,\” and aimed to evaluate the content validity of a newly developed tool for verifying inaccurate certificates using blockchain technology, based on the Content Validity Index (CVI) derived from the Lynn method, by evaluating the tool\’s items through six expert specialists in educational technology.
The research results showed that the final tool consisted of approved items within eight main domains: Intention to Adopt, Innovation, Optimism, Discomfort, Insecurity, Perceived Complexity, Perceived Compatibility, and Resistance to Change. All domains achieved satisfactory values for the scale-level content validity index (S-CVI/Ave), ranging between (0.80 – 0.92), which confirms the robustness of the tool\’s content and its readiness for further psychometric validation tests in the future.
