The College of Arts at the University of Samarra organized a training workshop on “Skills for Dealing with Various Work-Related Stresses,” in collaboration with departments from the Salah al-Din Education Directorate. The session was led by Dr. Mohammed Amjad Saleh from the Samarra Education Department, Dr. Sameer Bazee’ Mohammed from the Ishaqi Education Department, Dr. Sulaf Bahjat Aboud, and Assistant Lecturer Sarab Ahmed Madloul from the University of Samarra.

In her presentation before the Dean of the College and several faculty members, Ahmed highlighted various sources of workplace stress and their impact on overall performance and workers’ mental health, including task overload, procrastination, and sudden changes in work conditions.

Dr. Amjad focused on the importance of developing personal skills such as time management, problem-solving, effective communication, emotional intelligence, and adaptability, describing them as essential tools for mitigating stress.

Dr. Bazee’ concluded by recommending the creation of a healthy and positive work environment that supports employee satisfaction, boosts productivity, and fosters a culture of self-awareness and professional growth among participants.
