The President of Samarra University Announces the Establishment of the Food Science Department and Congratulates the College of Agriculture on Its Progress
Under the leadership of Professor Dr. Sabah Allawi Al-Samarrai, President of Samarra University, a ministerial order has been issued for the establishment of a Food Science Department within the College of Agriculture at Samarra University.
The decision to establish the department came after the college fulfilled the material and human resource requirements stipulated by the conditions for establishment. The department will begin accepting students in the upcoming 2024-2025 academic year.
The University President congratulated the Dean of the College of Agriculture, its staff, and students on this achievement and invited high school graduates to join this vital department, mainly due to the significant role that nutritional sciences play in human health and safeguarding human life.
