A New Graduate Studies Program at the University of Samarra

Professor Dr. Sabah Allawi Al-Samarrai, the President of the University of Samarra, has announced the establishment of a new graduate studies program at the College of Agriculture at the University of Samarra.

The announcement followed the issuance of a ministerial order to introduce a Master’s degree program in the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering at the College of Agriculture. The college is set to begin accepting students for the academic year 2025-2026.

It is noteworthy that this new program was established after a series of diligent efforts by the university president, including following up on the necessary procedures, securing essential requirements for the program, and obtaining official approvals from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The President of the University of Samarra congratulated the College of Agriculture and its academic and administrative staff, wishing the best of success to agricultural engineering graduates as they embark on their new journey in graduate studies.
