A New Scientific Addition to the Series of Innovations at the University of Samarra
In a new distinguished scientific step at the University of Samarra, Professor Dr. Sabah Allawi Al-Samarrai (President of the University of Samarra) announced the establishment of a Master’s program in the Department of Biotechnology within the College of Applied Sciences at the University of Samarra.
This specialization is considered one of the most globally significant fields, as scientific focus in many countries is now directed towards these specialized studies due to their profound impact on the advancement of nations and societies.
The Master’s program in the department will commence in the academic year 2025-2026, according to an official letter from the Research and Development Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, issued on October 6th of this year.
The university president congratulates the graduates of the College of Applied Sciences at the University of Samarra and other Iraqi universities on this qualitative development, which serves the students, the university, and the country alike, wishing the students success in their future academic endeavors.
