An employee at the University of Samarra obtains a master’s degree in teaching methods from Lebanon

Mr. Yasser Ali Abdulrahman, an employee at the College of Applied Sciences at the University of Samarra, has obtained a master’s degree from the College of Education at Al-Jinan University in Lebanon for his thesis titled “The Reality of Teachers’ Use of Critical Thinking Skills in Teaching Islamic Education and Ways to Develop It: Preparatory Schools in the City of Samarra as a Model.”

In his thesis, Abdulrahman aimed to analyze the current use of critical thinking skills by Islamic education teachers in Samarra and to identify these skills and ways to develop them.

The results indicated that Islamic education teachers extensively employ the skill of analysis in teaching this subject, focusing on analyzing religious situations. They also make significant use of the skill of inference, emphasizing the connection of minor details to religious texts to understand comprehensive meanings and encouraging students to deduce values and principles from the texts and relate them to life situations.

The Department of Media and Government Communication at the Presidency of the University of Samarra extends its warmest congratulations to Mr. Yasser Ali Abdulrahman on obtaining his master’s degree, wishing him continued success in the future.
