Awareness Campaign at the College of Law Focuses on Women\’s Role in Resource Sustainability

The College of Law at the University of Samarra organized an awareness campaign under the slogan “Women and the Environment… Sustainability and Security.” The campaign featured the display of educational posters prepared by the college’s Women’s Affairs Unit.

The organizers aimed to highlight the importance of guiding society toward environmental sustainability and the preservation of natural resources. Additionally, the campaign emphasized reducing environmental impact through the use of renewable resources and the protection of biodiversity.

The posters included awareness-driven and encouraging phrases calling for environmental protection as a collective responsibility. This responsibility requires active participation, starting with small steps and the adoption of eco-friendly practices, noting that every effort made to protect the environment is an investment in the planet and the future of life on Earth.

In a related context, the campaign focused on the pivotal role of women in environmental conservation and sustainability, particularly within daily household activities. This includes using recyclable bags instead of plastic, as well as their role in conserving energy and water consumption at home.

It is worth noting that this campaign was launched in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. It serves to strengthen the role of the university and its staff in maintaining and sustaining the ecosystem, highlighting the essential contribution of women in this field.
