College of Education Holds Workshop on Persuasion and Creativity Skills
The College of Education at the University of Samarra organized a training workshop titled “Fundamentals of Control and Persuasion,” delivered by Assistant Lecturer Noufal Abdulrahman Hammoud, a faculty member in the Department of Physics. The workshop aimed to enhance students’ personal skills in the art of persuasion and prepare them to engage in practical experiences with confidence and competence.
Abdulrahman discussed persuasion techniques, the importance of active listening and its role in influencing others, as well as collaborative negotiation and strategies for building trust between parties.
The session focused on applying the “win-win” approach in negotiations and emphasized the importance of empathy and emotional understanding in the persuasion process.
The workshop also featured active participation from attendees, who explored methods for positive influence in various aspects of life, including social and professional relationships.
The event concluded by highlighting the importance of continuous training in interaction and persuasion skills to achieve more effective communication.
