Scientific Assistant Chairs Meeting on Student Information System (SIS)
Professor Dr. Kamal Hussein Ahmed, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, chaired a meeting in his office that included the Director of the Student Affairs and Registration Department, the Director of the Electronic Computer Center, and the Director of the Department of Studies and Planning at the university presidency. The meeting was held on Tuesday, March 18.
The meeting focused on reviewing the contents of a document from the Directorate of Studies, Planning, and Follow-up, which pertains to the Student Information System (SIS).
The attendees discussed the possibility of nominating software specialists and forming a central committee at the university presidency, to be headed by the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs.
Additionally, the Assistant for Scientific Affairs emphasized the importance of instructing colleges to form subcommittees within scientific departments, composed of PhD holders and administrative staff members.
In turn, the directors of the administrative departments expressed their readiness to provide all necessary requirements and their full willingness to cooperate with the subcommittees to complete the work in record time.
