The Computation Center Organizes Workshop on Academic Management Platform and Data Uploading Mechanisms
The Computation Center at the University of Samarra organized a comprehensive workshop regarding the operational mechanisms of the Academic Management Platform and the protocols for uploading data to the university’s official website.
The workshop was presented by Lect. Raed Ashraf Kamil, Director of the Center, and Assist. Lect. Reqeeb Mahmoud Hassan, Head of the University Website Division.
The Centre aimed to Explain the technical handling of the Academic Management Platform and the university website, Detail the procedures for uploading essential data for various university departments And Clarify the requirements for international rankings, specifically focusing on the upcoming QS World University Rankings.
Reqeeb demonstrated the technical aspects of interacting with the website and the Academic Management Platform. He outlined the methods for uploading vital information, including Academic program descriptions, Curricula and study systems. On the other hand, Raed provided a detailed explanation of ranking requirements and their pivotal role in elevating the university’s global standing. He also highlighted the platform’s capacity to provide knowledge-based services to students, visitors, and those interested in the university’s academic structure.
The Vice Rector for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Kamal Hussein Ahmed, emphasized the urgency of completing the data upload for all colleges and scientific departments.
He stressed that this process—especially regarding ranking requirements—must be carried out under the direct supervision of the College Deans.
The workshop was distinguished by the presence of the Vice Rector for Scientific Affairs, all College Deans, heads of Information Technology units, and data entry officers from various college departments.
