The Minister of Education and the Parliamentary Education Committee discuss the academic year horizon and degree holders and alumni
The Minister, Dr. Nabil Kathem Abdel-Sahib, held a meeting with the Parliamentary Education Committee at the headquarters of the Iraqi Parliament and discussed some university issues in undergraduate and higher studies.
The meeting included several items, e-learning, the academic year horizon in the Corona crisis and its global repercussions, the plan for admission for graduate studies for the year 2020/2021, application controls and the employment, especially those related to holders of higher degrees, alumni and the file of Contracts and lecturers in universities, study fees in private universities and colleges, the equivalence of certificates and the issue of residency related to students abroad.
The two sides agreed to coordinate positions between the Ministry of Education and the Parliamentary Education Committee and overcome obstacles to Iraqi universities to achieve the development of their specialized output skills that are required by the reality of society and the labor market.
