The Minister of Higher Education Honors the Winners of the Higher Education Award, and the President of the University of Samarra Supports the Winner Representing the University

Student Fouad Mohammed Qasim, from the College of Engineering, received recognition from His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for securing 16th place in the second edition of the Higher Education Reading Award.

Professor Dr. Sabah Allawi Al-Samarrai, President of the University of Samarra, supported the student, who won the award for the second consecutive time after participating in the second edition of the competition and achieving a prominent position in both editions.

Mohammed represented the University of Samarra in the Higher Education Reading Competition, where 40 students from universities across Iraq were victorious. The winners shared a prize of 100 million Iraqi dinars after successfully answering 100 questions within a maximum of 15 minutes.

Dr. Al-Samarrai praised the student’s achievement, highlighting the honor he brought to the University of Samarra among all Iraqi universities by securing 16th place out of thousands of participants. Following this accomplishment, the president presented the student with a letter of appreciation for his academic efforts.
