A Workshop at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences Discusses Developing Entrepreneurial Ideas
The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Samarra organized a workshop on developing entrepreneurial ideas, titled “How to Develop an Entrepreneurial Idea and Turn It into a Project.” The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Wissam Hamid Ali and Assistant Lecturer Zain Al-Abidin Abbas Al-Taif, both faculty members at the college.
The workshop aimed to equip participants with fundamental knowledge and skills for developing entrepreneurial ideas by following systematic steps to evaluate, develop, and effectively implement them.
The discussion covered generating entrepreneurial ideas inspired by challenges facing the community or the labor market in the fields of health and sports, conducting the necessary economic feasibility studies for implementing these ideas, and transforming them into projects.
Additionally, the lecturers addressed the importance of studying an idea before its implementation, planning to secure the necessary funding, and testing it in the labor market once launched. They emphasized the need to develop the project according to its core idea to ensure it becomes a successful entrepreneurial endeavor that benefits both the public and private sectors.
It is worth noting that the workshop was organized as part of the University of Samarra’s activities for Global Entrepreneurship Week, which the university has been participating in since the beginning of the current month.
