Dr. Zaid Mohammed Mustafa, a faculty member at the College of Education, has published a new book through Retaj Publishing and Distribution House, titled “Yemen in the Twentieth Century: A Historical Study.” The book spans over 600 pages across six chapters, discussing topics such as international strategy, conflicts arising from the presence of international military bases, and internal political party disputes in Yemen.

Additionally, the book focuses on Yemen’s geographical significance and its international impact, particularly its maritime borders, the passage of global trade, and the economic and political influence of the Bab al-Mandab Strait on Asia, Africa, and Europe. The author also highlights the civil wars and the division of Yemen into North and South, explaining the declaration of Yemeni unity in 1990.

The Department of Media and Government Communication at the university’s presidency congratulates Dr. Zaid Mohammed Mustafa on his new scholarly work, wishing him continued success in his academic and research endeavors.
