The Minister of Higher Education receives the President of the University of Samarra
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Nabil Abdel-Sahib, met today 4/6/2020, the President of University of Samarra, Professor Dr. Sabah Allawi, at the Ministry’s headquarters.
His Excellency expressed his happiness with the university’s remarkable development in its new administration on many levels.
The meeting reviewed the exceptional and distinguished efforts of the university in the Corona crisis and the role of the University of Samarra in providing the health system with various needs and innovations.
The Minister praised the rise of the University of Samarra’s name in several important classifications and expressed unlimited support to the President, Dr. Sabah Allawi, and his working staff in upgrading the University of Samarra to take place it deserves among its Iraqi universities.
The Minister also directed to value the efforts of the working and productive staff in the university to thank and appreciate the President, the research, and administrative teams working with him, expressing his happiness in the positive atmosphere in which the working principle prevails in the spirit of one group at the University of Samarra.
The Minister agreed with the President on the great support to promote the qualitative production of the university and the various products that it provided, encouraging the opening of manufacturing areas and marketing to meet the local need on the one hand and maximize the university’s resources on the other side.
Dr. Sabah Allawi presented some examples of the university’s products to the Minister of Education, who pleased to enter the University of Samarra’s positive field interaction with the community with the urgent requirements. He also indicated the need to organize a special exhibition for these products.
At the end of the meeting, the President of the University invited His Excellency the Minister to visit Samarra and the University, which was a great welcome from His Excellency the Minister, who expressed his desire to do so, expressing his love for his city Samarra and its people.
