Title: Islamic Sciences College Organizes the “Ramadan of Knowledge and Learning” Festival
The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Samarra organized a Ramadan festival titled “Ramadan in Our Hearts: Ramadan of Knowledge and Learning.”
The festival opened with a recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by the recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha while standing in honor of the martyrs and deceased of the Islamic and Arab nations.
The event included the recitation of poetic verses expressing joy for the arrival of Ramadan, a student competition with numerous prizes distributed afterward, and the performance of religious chants celebrating love for faith and the Prophet (peace be upon him) by the Angham Al-Rabee’ (Melodies of Spring) Ensemble.
The festival concluded with the distribution of Ramadan calendars (Imsakiyat) and gifts to attending students and faculty members.
