Promoting the Importance of Visiting Libraries: A Campaign by the General Secretariat of the Central Library

The General Secretariat of the Central Library at the Presidency of the University of Samarra, in collaboration with the Library of the College of Engineering, organized an awareness campaign highlighting the importance of visiting libraries, under the slogan “Your Library is Your Gateway to Knowledge,” aiming to raise students’ awareness about the role and significance of libraries in universities.

The campaign involved distributing brochures that introduced the university library and emphasized the importance of visiting it as a place that provides a quiet and comfortable environment conducive to focus and learning. It also highlighted the library’s diverse collection of source and reference books that support researchers and students in their academic work.

Additionally, the brochure content focused on the benefits of frequenting the library, including improving academic performance through access to library resources, developing scientific research skills, and exploring academic databases.

This campaign is part of a broader effort to emphasize the role of university libraries in supporting students and researchers and expanding their knowledge through the effective use of resources, references, and scientific research methods.
