Administrative and Financial Affairs Department Organizes Training Course on Human Resources Management Program

The Administrative and Financial Affairs Department at the Presidency of the University of Samarra organized a three-day training course on the “Human Resources Management System (HR)” program, starting on Monday, April 21. The trainers included Assistant Lecturer (Moqdad Ali Ahmed), Assistant Lecturer (Ahmed Yassin Mohammed), Mr. (Nour Al-Din Subaih Ahmed), and Mr. (Haider Tahseen Nadhir).

The course organizers aimed to train the department staff, as well as the heads of human resources divisions and staffing units across the university’s formations, on operating the Human Resources Management program developed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with the goal of achieving digital transformation in administrative operations.

Ali introduced the general concept of the program, provided an overview, and explained the system’s contents that employees would be working with after completing the course. He also covered login procedures, ways to avoid potential problems, and methods to resolve them.

Yassin clarified the main interface of the program, the human resources manager account, and the staffing management system, in addition to demonstrating administrative classifications and how to add or modify them.

Tahseen presented the interface for employees who do not yet have administrative classifications, the process of adding new employees into the system, uploading, processing, and editing their data, and viewing each employee’s personal information.

The course concluded with Subaih presenting the final part, which focused on adding official documents, compiling their statistics, as well as methods for searching, filtering, and editing uploaded documents within the system.

It is noteworthy that this course followed training conducted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for administrative staff at various Iraqi universities, aiming to transition higher education and scientific research institutions toward digital operations in human resources and student affairs management.
