University of Samarra Employee Earns Master’s Degree in Physical Education and Sports Sciences
Mr. Mohammed Taha Yaseen, an employee at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Samarra, has obtained a master’s degree from the same college after defending his thesis titled:
“The Effect of the KUD Strategy on Social Interaction and the Teaching of Basic Football Skills to Students.”
In his thesis, Taha aimed to develop a measure of social interaction for fifth-grade secondary school students and to explore the effect of the KUD strategy on social interaction and the acquisition of basic football skills.
The thesis committee concluded that the experimental group, which was taught using the KUD strategy, outperformed the control group in the post-test results concerning social interaction and the learning of basic football skills.
In turn, the student recommended encouraging and motivating physical education teachers to adopt modern teaching methods and strategies that place students at the center of the educational process and actively involve them. He also emphasized the use of innovative learning strategies to achieve better outcomes and move away from traditional methods.
The Department of Media and Government Communication, on behalf of the University of Samarra staff, extends its congratulations to Mr. Mohammed Taha Yaseen on obtaining his graduate degree and wishes him continued success in his academic journey.
