University of Samarra Lecturer Delivers Educational Seminar on Family Building to Samarra Thermal Power Plant Employees

Assistant Lecturer Bassam Abdulhakim Wahib from the College of Education at the University of Samarra conducted a joint educational seminar with the Samarra Thermal Power Plant, part of the Northern Production Company, on “Building the Family on Sound Foundations.”

In his seminar, Abdulhakim aimed to educate the plant’s staff on proper child-rearing practices, family building, and the role these elements play in addressing challenges.

The lecturer outlined key principles for establishing a strong family, including religious upbringing, sound social values, and instilling noble ethics. He also discussed contemporary challenges to family building and strategies to overcome them by strengthening family bonds, which in turn contribute to individual and societal development.

Additionally, the seminar addressed the importance of revitalizing the family’s role in development, positioning it as an educational environment that can mitigate societal challenges, reform habits towards positivity, and support psychological and social stability for individuals.

This initiative is part of the university staff’s annual plans to serve the community, particularly in areas related to family building and societal reform.
