The College of Arts defines the harmful effects of smoking with an infographic

 

As part of its campaign to reduce the phenomenon of smoking, the College of Arts at the University of Samarra presented an explanation of the harms and dangers of smoking through an artistic design with an infographic; This is based on the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Diwan Affairs Division / Civil Defense Division.

The graphic explanation stated that one of the harmful effects of smoking is that it contains the following substances:

1- Ammonia: It is a cleaning substance used to sterilize toilets.
2- Benzene: a substance refined from petroleum – toxic – and has a toxic effect.
3- Arsenic: a highly toxic substance.
4- Nicotine: an organic, alkaloid, and toxic compound.
5- Carbon: a poisonous gas, and it affects the performance of the lung.
6- Citrine: A deadly chemicals used as an insecticide.
7- Mercury: a toxic and dangerous substance.
