The Minister of Education welcomed the Saudi ambassador and affirms the joint academic work between the two countries

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Nabil Kazem Abdel-Saheb, welcomed the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Iraq, Abdulaziz Al-Shammari, and discussed the development of cooperation paths between the universities of the two countries.

During the meeting, the Minister of Higher Education emphasized the necessity of providing reciprocal scholarships and formulating foundations for joint academic work.

In his turn, the Ambassador welcomed Iraq’s call to hold an Arab conference to review educational strategies and benefit from online education indicators in the world in the post-pandemic phase, stressing at the same time moving towards coordination and communication between Iraqi universities and their Saudi counterparts to achieve what serves common goals.
