The Scientific secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education welcomes the President of the University of Samarra
On the occasion of the assumption of his new position as Scientific Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Prof. Dr. Yassin Al-Ithawi welcomed yesterday morning, Thursday, in his office, Prof. Dr. Sabah Allawi Al-Samarrai, President of Samarra University.
Al-Ithawi praised the development of Samarra University under the current administration, appreciating the efforts made by the university’s administrators in all fields, stressing the need to pay attention to the quality of colleges and departments, pointing at the same time to the need to speed up the construction of the university in its new location and the need to acquire large lands for important colleges that suit the region, such as the College of Agriculture and others.
The scientific representative expressed his thanks and gratitude for this visit and his greetings to all the employees of the University of Samarra.
The two parties also agreed to intensify meetings to advance the educational reality, especially scientific research.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Ahmed Abdul-Jabbar Al-Karim and many representatives and officials.
The attendees discussed ways to support the educational process and insist on challenging the conditions of the world and our beloved country.
