The French Embassy in Baghdad hosts the President of the University of Samarra at an official invitation
The French Embassy in Baghdad hosted Prof. Dr. Sabah Allawi Al-Samarrai – President of Samarra University – in a ceremony organized for Iraqi students who graduated from various French universities.
The French Ambassador to Iraq, Dr. Eric Chevalier, presented an official invitation to the President of Samarra University to attend this occasion, which was held at his residence in Baghdad, on the evening of Wednesday, 13 April 2022, in the presence of a delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and some Iraqi university presidents and professors.
They discussed opening prospects for cooperation and exchanging visits between Samarra University and important French universities during the celebration. The French side expressed its welcome that Samarra University is one of the scientific monuments that facilitated cooperation in the fruitful scientific and cultural aspects.
The ceremony included a series of distinguished events that expressed the French side’s desire to build bridges of cooperation between Iraqi universities, in addition to the invitation of the President of Samarra University, who discussed the university’s graduates to register on an online platform that brings together graduates from French universities around the world to benefit from the experiences of former students for employment.
