Workshop at the University of Samarra on Professional Ethics

The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Samarra organized a workshop on “Professional Ethics” in collaboration with the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division of the university’s presidency. The workshop was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Adnan Talfah Muhammad, the division’s head, and targeted the college’s staff.

Dr. Talfah defined the concept of teaching profession ethics and workplace interactions. He also provided key resources that clarify the difference between morals and ethics, and emphasized their principles and characteristics.

The workshop concluded with important recommendations, including the necessity of studying globalization’s impact on professional decision-making, identifying causes of unethical behaviors, and proposing suggestions to improve the conduct of administrative and teaching staff, if needed, to build a robust functional and academic community.
