The Registration and Student Affairs Department Organizes an Awareness Campaign to Combat Cheating as Part of the Guidance Week Activities
The Registration and Student Affairs Department at the Presidency of the University of Samarra organized an awareness campaign aimed at reducing the phenomenon of cheating. The campaign included the distribution of an awareness brochure to university students as part of the Guidance Week initiated by the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division.
The brochure included a definition of cheating, its causes, the Islamic ruling on its prohibition, as well as the legal penalties associated with it. It also highlighted the negative impacts and harm it causes to students. Moreover, the campaign organizers focused on spreading methods to address the issue of cheating and advised students to avoid and prevent it.
It is noteworthy that the campaign was supervised by the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Kamal Hussein Ahmed, with direct follow-up from Assistant Lecturer Muqdad Ali Ahmed, the Director of the Registration and Student Affairs Department.
