A faculty member at the University of Samarra obtains a Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Baghdad

Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Khalil Jassim, a faculty member at the College of Education at the University of Samarra, has earned his Ph.D. from the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences at the University of Baghdad.

Khalil’s dissertation was titled “An Economic Analysis of the Impact of Fiscal Policy on Growth and Investment in the Agricultural Sector for the Periods (1980-2002) and (2003-2022) in Iraq.”

In his study, the researcher aimed to analyze and evaluate fiscal policy in achieving agricultural economic growth in Iraq, in addition to the nature of agricultural investments and the impact of labor on these policies. Furthermore, he sought to understand the real contribution and role of fiscal policy in stimulating local agricultural investment and encouraging the workforce to increase economic growth rates.

The researcher recommended studying the impact of government spending, particularly evaluating tax policies, explaining economic balance, and agricultural development strategies, in addition to evaluating governmental policies.

The Media and Government Communication Department at the Presidency of the University of Samarra congratulates the researcher on his academic achievement and specialization, wishing him continued success in his academic career.
