A Faculty Member at the University of Samarra Publishes a Religious Book
Dr. Sadiq Bakr Mahmoud, a faculty member in the Department of Creed and Islamic Thought at the College of Islamic Sciences – University of Samarra, has published a book titled “Stations on the Path of Dawah”. The book, released by Nashiroon Publishing House in Iraq, is in its first edition (2025).
In his book, Dr. Bakr aimed to outline a clear roadmap for the call to monotheism using a concise and straightforward style that is accessible to the audience and grounded in moderation. He addressed common misconceptions prevalent in Islamic society, focusing on faith foundations and the tolerant principles of Islam. Additionally, he clarified certain religious truths in a literary manner to ensure the information is conveyed with linguistic flexibility and ease.
In the conclusion of his book, Dr. Mahmoud emphasized that prioritizing tasks, practicing wisdom, patience, and deliberation, embodying virtuous morals, truthfulness in speech and action, and upholding justice are among the most important pillars of a correct approach.
On behalf of the Department of Media and Government Communications, we congratulate Dr. Sadiq Bakr Mahmoud on this valuable religious contribution that advocates for moderation. We wish him continued success in his endeavors.
