A lecturer at Samarra University publishes a book in media on the art of talk show production.
Dr. (Mahmoud Hamid Ibrahim), a lecturer on the faculty of the College of Agriculture at Samarra University, who specializes in radio and television, has published a new book by Dar Al-Fajr for Publishing and Distribution in Cairo, titled \”The Art of Producing Talk Shows in the Age of Satellite Channels and Their Impact on Shaping Public Opinion.\”
The first section of the book includes the concept of talk shows and their characteristics, in addition to the forms and components of these programs, along with an explanation of the positive and negative factors influencing talk shows, and the criticisms directed at these programs.
Meanwhile, (Mahmoud) presented the emergence and development of satellite television channels and their objectives, alongside presenting the concept of the communicator (broadcaster), their skills, the factors influencing the success of the communication process, and news values.
On another note, the author defined public opinion, explaining its types, the factors assisting in the formation of public opinion, its objectives and functions, in addition to the role of mass media in shaping and influencing public opinion.
In turn, the Department of Media and Government Communication congratulates Dr. (Muhammad Hamid Ibrahim) on his new scientific output, which is considered a scientific addition to the library of media and communication sciences, serving researchers and their academic careers in the fields of radio and television.
