College of Administration and Economics Raises Awareness About the Dangers of Corruption
The College of Administration and Economics at the University of Samarra raised awareness within the university community about the dangers of financial and administrative corruption through an awareness campaign organized by the Information Technology Division, in cooperation with the Media Division of the college, under the slogan “Corruption is a Plague that Drains Society.”
The organizers of the campaign aimed to combat the scourge of corruption, which has increasingly threatened all aspects of life, by raising awareness of its dangers and educating the university community on how to fight it.
The campaign included the distribution of brochures that defined the concept of corruption, its forms and types—including financial and administrative corruption—as well as the penalties imposed on those involved in corruption and the role of society in reducing and eliminating this phenomenon.
It is worth noting that this campaign was carried out in accordance with directives from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to activate the role of educational institutions in raising public awareness about the dangers of corruption, creating a work environment characterized by transparency and integrity, and supporting the university’s role in promoting community partnership and national belonging.
