College of Education at Samarra University Educates the Academic Community on the Chemistry of Fasting
The College of Education at Samarra University organized an educational activity on the “Chemistry of Fasting,” with participation from students of the Chemistry Department under the supervision of their professors.
The activity involved distributing informational brochures within the university campus, targeting faculty members, staff, and students. These brochures contained simplified information about the impact of fasting on chemical reactions within the body, the benefits of fasting, its role in strengthening the immune system, and its contribution to improving the functions of various bodily organs.
The organizers aimed to highlight the chemical and physiological changes that occur in the human body during fasting and to explain the biological processes that take place when abstaining from food and drink.
This initiative is part of the educational and awareness-raising activities undertaken by the university’s staff, aiming to spread knowledge within the academic community, especially those tailored to specific times and occasions.
