Dean of the College of Arts at the University of Samarra Advocates for Support of Arts Colleges in Meeting with the President

His Excellency President Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid met with the deans of the Colleges of Arts from Iraqi universities to discuss ways to develop these institutions. He emphasized the state’s commitment to supporting scientific activities and enhancing the quality of education, noting that the first step begins with the deans who are familiar with the challenges hindering their colleges’ progress.

Professor Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Alou, Dean of the College of Arts at the University of Samarra, highlighted to the President that Arts colleges in Iraq require support in “appointments and employment.” He stressed that these colleges provide students with essential life and social knowledge, making them vital components of Iraqi universities.

The meeting concluded with the President’s commendation, affirming that the deans’ proposals and problem identifications will be reviewed by the State Council to explore immediate solutions.
