A student in Physical Education and Sports Sciences participates in the SOCCA World Cup for Mini Football
Anas Jassim Mohammed, a student from the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Samarra, participated as a member of the Iraqi National Mini Football Team in the SOCCA World Cup, which was organized for the first time in the Middle East, in the Sultanate of Oman.
The University of Samarra student was selected as part of the starting lineup for the national team, which competed in the tournament among forty international teams and advanced to the Round of 16 after defeating teams from Kuwait, Belgium, Cyprus, and Greece.
It is worth noting that the deanships of all colleges at the University of Samarra strive to support their students with diverse skills, particularly within their fields of study, and work to propel them to international recognition.
