Minister of Higher Education Honors President of Samarra University at Academics Festival
Professor Dr. Sabah Alawi Al-Samarrai, President of Samarra University, was honored by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Yasser Al-Aboudi.
The recognition took place during the Academics Conference held at the University of Baghdad on Thursday, April 10, 2025, in the presence of Iraqi university presidents, the head of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, and a distinguished group of university leaders.
In turn, Al-Samarrai expressed his gratitude to the Minister for his continuous efforts in supporting Iraq’s academic journey, his attention to Iraqi universities, and his strong commitment to achieving global rankings.
