The Teaching Qualification Committee at the University of Samarra tests a group of graduate degree holders in the humanities
The Teaching Qualification Committee for Humanities at the University of Samarra conducted a test for a group of graduate degree holders who wish to obtain a teaching qualification certificate from the university.
Professor Dr. Abed Barak Mahmoud (Committee Chair) explained that a group of postgraduate degree holders underwent the teaching qualification test to assess their scientific and academic abilities in managing a lesson and their suitability for teaching university students.
The committee members listened to the lectures presented by the applicants, which covered various aspects, including the individual’s general appearance, language proficiency, mastery of the scientific material related to their specialization, the skills they possess, and their ability to use modern technologies in teaching methods to present the scientific material effectively during the lecture. The committee members provided their evaluative feedback.
It is noted that teaching qualification tests are one of the required conditions for practicing the teaching profession in governmental and private institutes and universities. Applicants may take the qualification test after completing a teaching methods course.
