Workshop Highlights the Role of Soft Skills in Career Readiness at the College of Applied Sciences

The College of Applied Sciences at the University of Samarra organized a workshop titled “Soft Skills and Their Role in Career Readiness,” presented by Dr. Mina Abdulsalam Mustafa and Ms. Rabab Khalaf Ahmed.

The workshop aimed to introduce and emphasize the importance of soft skills in career preparation for final-year undergraduate students. The speakers discussed how soft skills influence professional success and career paths, and they offered key strategies for job applications to help students enhance their personal skills and increase their employability.

The workshop concluded with several recommendations, most notably the importance of investing in continuous training, strengthening communication and teamwork abilities to improve the work environment, and developing critical and creative thinking, along with problem-solving skills, to meet the demands of the job market.
