The University of Samarra Council holds its sixth regular open session

 

The University of Samarra’s Council held its regular (sixth) open session chaired by the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Sabah Allawi Khalaf, starting from Tuesday 3/23/2021 until Thursday, 1/4/2021, and in the presence of all council members.
The council discussed many important topics of a scientific and research nature.

Allawi stressed the establishment of scientific conferences, seminars, and workshops, and he congratulates the College of Applied Sciences on the occasion of holding its first international scientific conference.

Allawi also stressed the follow-up of websites by the deans of colleges, heads of departments, and the success of the final electronic exams for the first semester, in addition to setting the date of the attendance examinations for students.

The President also directed the deans of colleges to cooperate with the Education Directorate regarding the performance of preliminary examinations for high school students (external) in the colleges and the preparation and sterilization of halls.

At the end of the session, the council discussed the topic of introducing an evening study in the College of Agriculture and the introduction of an evening study in the Department of Biotechnology at the College of Applied Sciences.
Where the council recommended the introduction of the above studies because of their importance for the city and society.
