The University of Samarra – Two professors receive the gold medal for the best research and patent in Dhi-Qar
Within the participation of the University of Samarra in the exhibition and science conference (the first letter) in Dhi-Qar, technology, inventions, and pioneering research for the period 24-26 / 6 / 2021, the director of the department of cultural and teaching relations at the College of Engineering Dr. Rana Ibrahim Khalil and Head of the Information Division at the College of Applied Teaching the faculty Ahmed Suhail Hussein, the gold medal among the best research and patents participating in the conference with a titled study “Evaluation efficacy powders of Pomegranate peel and Date kernel and compare it with nanoparticles silver in reuse car wash effluent station.
Prof. Rana Ibrahim Khalil and faculty Ahmed Suhail Hussein, the patent dealt with the treatment of sewage water for car wash stations using powders of nanomaterials and others of plant origin, represented by powdered pomegranate peels and date kernels, which proved its efficiency in removing the pollution load and recycling it to conform to the specifications of water for industrial and agricultural use, according to the specifications of the World Health Organization (WHO).
