The Administrative and Financial Affairs Department organizes a workshop on human resources and financial mechanisms

The Administrative and Financial Affairs Department at the Presidency of the University of Samarra organized a training workshop titled “Mechanisms of Human Resources and Financial Divisions,” presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Aziz Abbas, the department director.

The department’s staff aimed, through their workshop, to train the heads of human resources, financial affairs, and planning divisions within the university’s formations and to organize their work.

The workshop discussed the correct mechanism for forming and operating administrative committees, adherence to responses related to ministry statistics, and working according to administrative procedures when consulting the university presidency.

In the same context, the workshop focused on creating a detailed database of the university’s staff and the necessity of its continuous updating, as well as emphasizing the work of colleges regarding promotions, adding service years, and employment seniority.

Additionally, the workshop presenter addressed adherence to specified timelines for completing monthly salary calculations and emphasized the mechanism for submitting salaries within the designated times.

The workshop concluded with several recommendations, the most important of which are: all colleges and presidency departments must adhere to the administrative procedures related to consulting the Administrative and Financial Affairs Department, comply with specified timelines for responding to administrative correspondence and official documents, and complete financial matters within the designated times.
