A faculty member from Samarra University participates in an international basketball training course
Assistant Lecturer Iyad Ghani Jassim, a faculty member at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Samarra University, took part in the activities of the international training course for university basketball team coaches. The course was organized by Dijlah University College in Baghdad and lasted for two days.
Ghani’s participation represented Samarra University, following a nomination from the Department of Student Activities, alongside more than 70 participants from governmental and private universities and colleges.
It is noteworthy that the course was conducted under the direction of the Supervisory and Scientific Evaluation Authority of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with the participation of international lecturers. The aim was to maximize the benefit from their experiences in basketball coaching and apply them to Iraqi university teams.
