University of Samarra Enhances the Skills of Psychological Counseling Officers with a Training Course

The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division at the presidency of the University of Samarra organized a three-day training course held in the Continuing Education Center’s hall. The course was conducted by Assistant Professor Dr. Adnan Talfah Mohammed (Division Head) and attended by Professor Dr. Kamal Hussein Ahmed (Assistant President for Scientific Affairs).

The course aimed to develop the skills of officers of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Units, along with their collaborators in all colleges of the university.

The course covered topics such as the concept of psychological counseling, its importance, objectives, ethics of educational counselors, as well as an introduction to counseling records and mechanisms for their use.

It is noteworthy that the course was organized in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, based on the recommendations of the Training of Trainers (TOT) program.
