A Discussion Session Highlighting Linguistic Errors and Their Correction According to Linguists and Grammarians

The College of Arts at the University of Samarra organized a discussion session titled “Common Linguistic Errors in Conversations, Research, and Official Documents”, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Center at the university.

This session was initiated by the Department of Arabic Language to enhance proficiency in the mother tongue and provide practical solutions to avoid recurring mistakes in both formal and informal writing.

A group of Arabic language students led the session and engaged in discussions, attended by students and Arabic language enthusiasts. They presented their topics with depth and clarity, fostering a structured and constructive dialogue. This enriched the discussion with diverse perspectives and linguistic expertise.

A distinguished group of faculty members from the Arabic Language Department supervised the discussions to reinforce confidence among participants, ensure the quality of debates, and enhance the level of linguistic analysis and understanding.

At the end of the session, the college administration honored the participants and supervisors in recognition of their efforts and outstanding academic contributions to the success of the event.
