A faculty member at the University of Samarra has been selected for membership in the scientific committee of an international conference

Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Wissam Al-Din Qawam, a faculty member in the College of Islamic Sciences, was chosen to participate in the conference “Digital Transformation and the Future of Islamic Banking in Iraq,” organized by the Imam Al-Azam College in Baghdad.

The conference organizers aimed to discuss ways to develop the Islamic banking industry in Iraq and the importance of implementing digital transformation to enhance service efficiency and keep pace with the modern financial system by first developing academic knowledge.

It is noteworthy that Dr. Qawam’s selection for the scientific committee was due to his scientific expertise and numerous participations in local and international scientific conferences.
