A Faculty Member at the University of Samarra Publishes a Scientific Research in a Q1 Scopus-Indexed Journal
Dr. (Mohammed Ahmed Mustafa), a faculty member at the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Samarra, has published a scientific research titled:
\\\”Studying the Efficacy, Methods, and Challenges of Induced Pluripotent Stem Cell (iPSC)-based Therapy in Parkinson\\\’s Disease\\\”
in the Italian journal (Neurological Sciences), published by (Springer Nature), which is classified within the first quartile (Q1) in the Scopus database.
The researcher aimed to study the utilization of stem cell techniques for treating neurodegenerative disorders, specifically Parkinson’s disease, which is a disease that causes the progressive deterioration of the neurons of the central nervous system.
Mohammed concluded that the reprogramming of adult somatic cells and converting them into induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) has contributed to the development of therapeutic strategies via cellular replacement.
For its part, the Department of Media and Government Communication at the University Rectorship congratulates the faculty member in the College of Education for Pure Sciences for his endeavor to advance in research aspects and his scientific output published in international databases, wishing him continued success in the coming days.
