A Faculty Member from the University of Samarra Participates in a Conference on Achieving Social Peace with a Research Paper on Social Peace in the Holy Quran

Dr. Shahad Munir Qawam Al-Din, a faculty member at the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Samarra, participated in the scientific conference organized by the University of Tikrit in collaboration with the University of Samarra this February. The conference was titled “Tools and Methods for Achieving Social Peace in Salah al-Din Province.”

Dr. Munir contributed with her research paper titled “Social Peace in the Holy Quran and Ways to Achieve It.” Her study focused on the Quran’s teachings and their application in educational curricula to help refine and reform individuals.

The research also emphasized the role of social peace in the implementation of laws and regulations, fostering unity, strengthening bonds, and promoting security and stability within society. Furthermore, it explored the significance of social peace across various aspects of life.

Dr. Munir highlighted that the Holy Quran addresses the issue of lost peace through numerous diverse approaches, surpassing the efforts of international organizations and global initiatives. She pointed out that the Quran’s solutions are just, respect human rights, and provide individuals the opportunity to regain their rational thinking and moral integrity.

Additionally, the study illustrated that the Quranic teachings were revealed to save humanity, establish justice in interpersonal relationships, and promote peace and stability. These principles contribute to ensuring security for both individuals and society as a whole.
