A Master’s Thesis at the University of Samarra Evaluates the Levels of ProMBP and Sclerostin in Women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome
A Master’s thesis at the College of Applied Sciences, University of Samarra, titled “Evaluation of ProMBP and Sclerostin Levels in Women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome,” was presented by the student Israa Ali Khalaf.
In her thesis, the student aimed to evaluate the levels of ProMBP and Sclerostin as modern diagnostic markers, alongside assessing levels of certain biochemical indicators and sex hormones. Additionally, the Body Mass Index (BMI) was measured using the ELISA technique, based on samples collected from private clinics and Samarra General Hospital.
The results showed an increase in ProMBP and Sclerostin levels, as well as elevated levels of sex hormones and biochemical indicators, along with a higher BMI in the patient group compared to the healthy control group.
