Assoc. Prof. Dr. (Hussam Fadhil Shaker), the teaching staff member in the Department of Life Sciences, College of Pure Sciences – University of Samarra, published a scientific paper in the Earth and Environmental Sciences journal in Britain, categorized in the fourth quartile (Q4) within the Scopus database.

The results showed that the transparency ranged from 467 to 784 cm at Station One, and from 452 to 778 cm at Station Two, with the lowest transparency values recorded in January. Additionally, the highest sulfate concentrations were recorded in April, while the highest chloride concentrations were recorded in February, reflecting the impact of environmental and seasonal factors on the lake’s water quality.
