College of Administration and Economics Strives to Enhance Students’ English Skills through Scientific Seminar
The College of Administration and Economics, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center at the Presidency of the University of Samarra, organized a scientific seminar titled “How to Develop English Language Skills,” delivered by Dr. Mohammed Raad Jaddou. The seminar aimed to enhance and strengthen the English language skills of both faculty members and students.
Dr. Raad discussed the potential benefits of using smartphone applications to develop language skills, leveraging educational programs across various platforms, and employing visual aids as effective tools to improve listening, speaking, reading, and writing abilities.
The lecturer emphasized the correct methods of utilizing these technologies to ensure maximum benefit in developing language proficiency, particularly in learning and advancing English.
The seminar was attended by a number of faculty members and students from the college, especially those interested in improving their language skills. The event also included discussions on successful experiences in learning other languages and applying best practices to enhance those skills.
The seminar concluded by stressing the importance of adopting a continuous learning approach based on practice and interaction with diverse resources to ensure tangible progress in acquiring new languages.
