Department of Dormitory Affairs Launches Awareness Campaign on Cyber Blackmail

The Department of Dormitory Affairs Initiates Student Awareness on the Phenomenon of Cyber Blackmail

The Social Research Unit within the Department of Dormitory Affairs has launched an awareness campaign on the “phenomenon of cyber blackmail” to educate students about the dangers of this issue.

Several female staff members from the department began distributing brochures to university students. These brochures included a definition of cyber blackmail and methods of prevention, such as avoiding the use of dating sites and applications, not accepting friend requests on social media from unknown individuals, and refraining from sharing personal information through social media platforms.

It is worth noting that the campaign was organized under the direction of Assistant Lecturer Muqdad Ali Ahmed (Department Director), out of concern for protecting students from falling victim to cyber blackmail criminals.
